Mr. Gates, do you believe we are currently winning in Iraq? No.
Well, no shit! And you know what? If politicians continue to control our actions in Iraq, we're never going to win there. Let the military minds run the military...wow, what a concept!!
These people piss me off.
And I'm really starting to get disenchanted with President Bush. I've been fighting myself on this topic, but, border control, MexiCanadAmerica, "talks" with Iran...we, kids, are going to hell in a handbasket. What will America look like in 10 yrs? In 5 even. I'm afraid it won't look anything like we are used to.
Maybe wearing a burka won't be so bad...afterall, I aint as cute as I used to be.

George has been too political for my tastes. Probably, we're winning the war in Iraq and losing it in the media.
I feel the same way. The only thing I can say in Pres. Bush's defense is he's elected to serve the people of this country. The people of this country spoke in the last election. They tied his hands. They sent a message 'We don't like what you're doing.' We've lost our backbone as a nation, I fear. The world just wants to appease the radicals. We're playing right into their hands. I say, if someone fires a shot from a Mosque, blow it up. If someone can't act rational on a jetliner, throw their ass off and make them rent a car, forever. Let them get to their conventions on foot. I'm tired of bending over backwards to be tolerant of people who aren't tloerant of anyone.
I agree, I cringe every time I hear that they want to negotiate with those religious fascist.
Sitting down with a pack of liars looking for a short term way out reminds me of Chamberlin talking with Hitler.
